hello~! i'm back.. and sweet peas 1st birthday

HELLO HELLO HELLO my fellow readers~!

how are you? i hope you are doing fine. i am extremely sorry for the lack of posting and for the long silence. i have been totally occupied with my Masters degree. it was the last leg, and i managed to survive the "crazy period" i had trying to get my thesis done and finally i got it submitted. yeay!!! hooray! so i will be awaiting my Graduation day.. *beaming*

moving along to another topic..

February to March is the month of birthdays. first was Berry's birthday (my sister's rabbit) on the 13th February, then it was my birthday on 14 Feb, and recently my Sweet Peas birthday; they turned 1 just the other day on the 7th March 2012. they were born last year 7th March 2011 around 12.30pm-1.30pm. i can't believe that they had been with me and my family for 1 year already. time sure flies huh~!

this was them and the mother Simba. sweet peas were 3 weeks old.

i am very close to this bunch because i was there when Simba (the mother) gave birth and i welcome them into the world. i took care of them when their size were smaller than my palm.

so for their birthday, i made a paper cupcake with the number 1 on top. i just want it to look like a birthday cake. i used that to take photos of them on their birthday.

also, my mum, my brother and myself sang birthday song while carrying them and did a birthday sing and dance for each of them.. hahaha!! i know.. i am soo looney~! leave it to me to do crazy things for my kitties. ;p

all in all, i am very happy that i get to celebrate their 1st birthday with them.

and, i am very very grateful that:

1. all four of them survived during the 'critical period' soon after being born.
2.they are alive and healthy till today.
3. they are my bundle of joy money can't buy.
4. my cats are in a 'cat-friendly neighbourhood' and they are safe from cruel acts of neighbours who hate cats and will do anything to hurt them.

i pray that they will be with me and my family for many many many years to come. :)
